Yenişehir Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit provides necessary support to all babies in need of intensive care. In the light of up-to-date information, it unites the babies with their families in a short time with its modern medical equipment and provides the necessary resources for informing and educating the families.

As of the 24thgestational week, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit provides advanced care for babies under high risk such as premature birth, multiple pregnancy, infant of diabetic mothers, infant who has swallowed meconium in the womb, and brain and other organ damage due to difficult birth. Neonatal Intensive Care Unit providing all the necessary medical and surgical services to the small patients provides health care to all newborns in the hospital as well as Turkey and neighboring countries in need of intensive care. For this purpose, services are provided in cooperation with air and land ambulance systems.

The services provided in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit; respiratory support (ventilator therapy), blood exchange, photo therapy, percutaneous catheter applications (the way extending from the thin veins in the arm and leg to the heart), total parenteral nutrition applications, thoracic tube insertion (lung air leakage treatment), invasive blood pressure monitoring (blood pressure measurement  from umbilical vein), bedside EEG (brain electro), bedside ECO (heart ultrasound), bedside USG (ultrasound for evaluation of brain and other internal organs), retinopathy (eye examinations of premature babies). The Unit receives 24 hours support from ; Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Neurology, Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric Gastroenterology, Pediatric Metabolism and Endocrinology departments.
